Dr. Uday Mathur
Dr. Uday Mathur grew up in California and attended St. George’s University School of Medicine where he received his Medical Doctorate. After attending his clinical rotations in Brooklyn, New York, he completed his Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation residency at Memorial Hospital in Hollywood, FL. He then completed an additional fellowship in the subspeciality of Sports Medicine at Bayfront Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL. Dr. Mathur has always been passionate about exercise and living a healthy lifestyle.
After overcoming a traumatic event that resulted in loss of limbs, he became passionate about the field of rehabilitation medicine and was determined to marry it with the world of non operative orthopedic care. He believes that sports medicine is for anyone looking to improve their physical function. Dr. Uday Mathur is happy to evaluate and treat all patients ranging from high level athletes to those who want to walk around their homes pain free.
